In Numerology each number has its own vibration and its own vibratory influence upon the individual. Each letter of the alphabet has a numeric value that also represents a certain vibration. The numbers in your name and your date of birth can give a lot of information about your character, motivation, purpose, and talents.
To create a numerology profile, you need your date of birth and your full name, as written on your birth certificate. Most authorities agree that your full birth name as recorded on your birth certificate is the name that must be used for all calculations involving your name. Nicknames, changed names including marriage name changes do not dilute the importance of the name given to you by your parents.
The main numbers used in Numerology are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 22 and 33. (There are also Karmic Debt Numbers of 13, 14, 16 and 19 which I will explain a bit further on.) Each of these numbers represents different characteristics. The numbers representing your date of birth or your full birth name are repeatedly added together until a core number is found (1 to 9) or one of the Master Numbers (11, 22 or 33).
